The Paradox of Cause and effect

Everything we feel, see, smell and taste are inherently linked with our cause and effect relationships. This relationship is so strong that we take it for granted. You fall from a tree you will get hurt. Inevitably you would think twice before climbing a tree
Why do we respect cause and effect relationship so much. This is because of the power of TIME, it’s like this

TIME is supreme; it is the most effective destroyer of lives, Societies, Countries, worlds, universe etc. We dance the cosmic dance with TIME day in and day out.
This is seen in our understanding of our lives. How we grow up, mature, grow old and finally pass on to the other world.
This is seen in many Management Studies. For Example take the PLC (product Life Cycle) it shows us the power of TIME. Attributing the changes to consumer behavior, economic factors et-al is in a micro-view. Since all consumer and economic factors change with TIME.
By the way our views are narrowed down by this illusory aspect of TIME. To illustrate this I would present you with the following experiment.

The Bird and the Stone:

SITUATION 1.

CAUSE
v You have a stone; a bird is sitting on a branch of a tree
v You aim the stone at the bird and throw.

EFFECT
v Your stone misses the target, the bird flies away.

SITUATION 2.

Now imagine that you were throwing the stone at a much higher speed and the bird would react equally fast.

CAUSE

v You aim the stone at the bird and throw with superhuman speed.

EFFECT
v Once again your stone misses the target, the bird flies away with unnatural reflexes.

But this time the TIME span has been greatly reduced between Cause and Effect.

SITUATION 3

Now imagine that you were able to throw the stone at the speed of light and the bird responds at the same unimaginable speed.

CAUSE + EFFECT

v The stone is being thrown spontaneously the bird flies away all at the same instant.

Here we cannot distinguish between the cause and effect.

Now the final piece of the puzzle. Just applying a little bit of reasoning; what we like to call as extrapolation or forecasting based on historical trends.

SITUATION 4

Imagine the speed of stone exceed the speed of light, also the birds reaction is faster than light speed. Now this should happen.

CAUSE

v A Bird flies away from a branch of a tree in your vision.

EFFECT

v Magically a stone arrives at your palms.
v You find yourself striking a pose with the stone in one hand.

And you behave normally ever after!

The Cause and Effect Relationship get reversed. The Laws of our Perception Change but we never notice this since we take this new relationship for granted as we took when the stone was thrown at speeds lesser than the speed of light.

This is the illusion of TIME.

In-fact we can never say whether CAUSE is EFFECT or Visa-a-Versa

Confusing isn’t it. Take this common example which will clarify the point I am making.

Cassette Tape:

It’s like an Old Cassette Tape; remember the times before the CDs and the MP3s when you would have used one. How the song plays on both the side just by reversing the cassette and makes proper music.
Importantly note that the music is proper irrespective of which side the cassette plays.

Some Inferences:

This leads us to the next inference that whether TIME goes forward (CAUSE precedes EFFECT) or TIME goes in rewind (EFFECT precedes CAUSE) it would still make sense to have a dual relationship (EFFECT - CAUSE or CAUSE - EFFECT) whichever way you choose.

And we could not say whether our TIME is going forward or rewind based on any earthly experiments. All our earthly experiments have limited scope since the direction of TIME is our world is same.
Whatever we can measure belongs to the same set of observations; hence we cannot prove the above hypothesis.

Also there is no absolute direction in which TIME flows we can only comprehend relative direction; like If this is forward then opposite is rewind.

A Passing Thought:

Here is an interesting question for the reader to answer:

Could it be possible for TIME to Speed Up? Or Slow Down try to answer this on your own.

The End of TIME:

What if TIME Stops? To think about a TIME STOP is like to think that there is no relationship between cause and effect. Here the Perceptive power of Human’s Vanishes.
We are not capable of deciphering such a situation and we cannot be; since we are designed to live by definite causes and their effects and hence TIME.

It is that instant or should I call it situation when TIME becomes suddenly powerless and causes and effects have the freedom not be associated with each other.

I Decided to set up some of our best pics and few lines about each of us. So here we go

This First picture was taken during Kshitij- 2003, our Final year Gathering.
had great enjoyment. lots of sutta and vodka after all the parting and dancing till late night in the free for all disco.
This Pic shows the great GJ, Me, Lafoot, Patil, Amrut, Ashish and that Junior i forgot his name.

This picture Shows Our Infamous A2 Aradhana Apartments Balcony, and all the apne bande facing the sun. from left to right Rudresh (AKA Bhadda), Suchindra (AKA Suchi,Banarasi Thug), Saurav(AKA Cheeku, Bhare Badan Ki Rand), Gaurav (AKA Lafoot).
Presently
Lafoot is my roomie at working at Mainstay Bangalore.
Rudresh Is in Minesotta USA.

All this along with the famous window girl whom everone of us tried to impress with theirs various techniques.

Lafoot and Cheeku would open up their shirts and pretend to be like John Abraham.

Bhadda would lie on his bed ulta and impress her by his slumber.

Me and Suchi would impress her by drawing out smoke rings from our navy cuts or chotti golds.

Dear Chiku & Bodhi,

First of all, I wish u very happy Dewali(amader kalipujo). Bodhi can get a taste of this celebration, sorry to chiku. This will be only in ur memories now. I found bodhi is in good shape as far as his physic is concerned when in met bodhi in Bangalore . U really look cool on ur machine(ROYAL ENFIELD). And, Maithani is as lafoot as he was before. That lafootgiri suits with maithani only.

To tell u chiku, maithani and bodhi are having great collection of Jackets. Bodhi, I really liked ur place and hospitality. That was a real refreshing evening and time that we spent together in Bangalore. I really liked ur mail chiku. I am not angry with u after knowing that u r really in a very tight schedule. But I think u should continue with your natural instincts as far as girls are concerned. Ur area of research went just bouncers to me. Anyways, all the best. Last week I went to Nagpur(Probably for the last time). Though I stayed in a hotel, I went to gokulpeth to refresh my memory. I went to our home, Aradhana Apartment and all the pictures from the past went through my mind by frame by frame. Really friends, THOSE WERE THE DAYS.

All the masti, study, cricket, vodka, sutta and many more sessions were just amazing. I remember bodhi used to study whole night with his ‘powernaps’ and my halat used to be very tight after 12’o clock. Chiku was as an early riser and started his study soon in morning after watching the ‘WINDOW GIRL’ in front of our building. We had great breakfast with rice, potato and butter. Bodhi’s famous order to chiku about bringing the sutta’GO CHIKU GO’. There are infinite things to write about that u guys know well to. I went to futana bhandar and the great Vodka sessions came to my mind and bought sutta from Sharma’s shop where we used to get sutta in lesser price. Sharma uncle’s STD booth, the saloon is still there. But the old khatara Fiat car wasn’t there. I went to nirmal net café where chiku and me had spent so many rupees on chatting and cheating. That Bhaiya still remembers us and ask about u guys. I went to RamNagar where used have poha and sutta. But there is a bad news. Great top in Town is no more there. May be it has been shifted to some other place… cheers to biriyani and special mughlai. I had my dinner in Babu’s. gokul brindavan is still there but I think it is missing us because we used to pareshan the server for free samber and chatni.

The people like us are no more in Nagpur, I think it’s a loss to Nagpur. I had very less time in hand. I would have love to go Navadyam, Pyramid Gangour, coffee house, upper crust , top n town(ice cream), CCD and many more places where we left our foot prints. That will happen when again we meet at Nagpur in life. This mail is a little tribute to the time we spent in Nagpur. Hope u guys like it.All the best.

Keep in touch

The DBD's of bangalore

Dear all,

It feels great to add some more articles to my blog after some hectic weeks of shitty work;

My ass feels pertrefied after sitting on my cubicle for ages and staring agape at the developments on my computer screen..... specially at isipid excel sheets.

we {Me + gaurav(AKA "LAFOOT")} have made some very nice friends here in the streets of bangalore.

They are the one and only DBD's (AKA "DUST-BIN DOGS") . These are the members of a large society just like we humans are.

The leader of the gang of DBD's near my locality is "CHOBO" named after . The great Saurav Lahiri AKA "CHEEKU" .

well CHOBO is a ferocious as well as lovely friend he has control over a large number of bitches and Dust-bins.

Then there is "GLOBO" who is the primary girlfriend of CHOBO and the manager of a well endowed dust-bin on my street.

CHOBO has this great itch all the time and keeps biting his hairs contiously.
His skin is frayed all over and hairs have become filthy and twisted.

But he remains very friendly and comes close to us whenever we spot him doing his chores.

along with them there are two rickety lads we call them HOBO and MOBO these are the gaurdians of GLOBO and remain quite shy.

Then there is another very special bitch, her name is JULIE and she is as sweet as can be. really likes coming close to people specially LAFOOT probably she has a crush on him?

and there are another group of DBS's behind our house. a very strong family of RAJA,RANI,RUKMINI and the belligerent TIGER.

this group gaurds the SAI BABA temple behind our home.

and are known as the SAI BABA DOGS (SBD's).

What we do feel from interacting with the DBD's is that they should be given more respect and more dustbins to chew on by us.

Take care;

till the next article..
give your comments ASAP.

Bangalore incident

Dear all.

It was great to get alleast one comment that too from the great Gaurav Jha aka "G.J" one point of clarification i was a born cloud spotter, even b4 the nagpur days.

anyways nice incident last saturday night. I hope you all know my new roomate is Gaurav Maithani aka "LAFOOT" (seen here above left holding a cofee cup). he is currently working at Khodays contact centre and comes home late at night to disturb my sleep.

On saturday we both had a holiday, so Lafoot's friend Vineet came along and along came "ROMANOV" a large bottle , and so started the famous drunkards revelation's. The topic went to ghost's and haunted places vineet's real life story (so be it) scared the shit out of us. We started debating at 3 AM and making loud noise.

Our landlord got up and came marching to our door( Note :- In nagpur this would never happen) and banged the hinges out of it. We hid Vineet in the toilet and i opened the door after spraying ULTRA MUSK all around the room.

Landlord was furious and acerbic started saying M.K.C and all such used to junk languague .
I somehow managed to pacify him.

In the morning we woke up to find one of our neighbour's dead as if Vineet's story came alive. his story was "whenever he tell's his story someone die's nearby......................."

How was it
Please do comment.
